Skid Row New Album Will be Released This Year with British-based Vocalist ZP Theart (DRAGONFORCE, TANK, I AM I)
Skid Row is ready to kicking again the world music scene, SKID ROW has signed a worldwide deal with Australia's Golden Robot Records. A major label records based on Australia, the last part of trilogy "United World Rebellion" will be released later this year. The record was recorded at a Nashville, Tennessee studio with producer Michael Wagener, who also supported the group's 1989 self-titled debut and 1991's "Slave To The Grind".
Let me introduce this hard rock band, if you don't them very well, Skid Row is an American heavy metal band or hard rock band from Toms River, New Jersey. Formed in 1986, the group originally included vocalist Matt Fallon, guitarists Dave "The Snake" Sabo and Jim Yuhas, bassist Rachel Bolan, and the drummer John Ratkowski Jr. By early 1987, the lineup had changed to feature Sebastian Bach in place of Fallon, Scotti Hill in place of Yuhas and Rob Affuso in place of Ratkowski, yeahh this is the early edition of Skid Row band member
Oke lets go back to the main issue, As reported from Blabbermouth net, This Album somehow will mark SKID ROW's first release with South African-born British-based vocalist ZP Theart (DRAGONFORCE, TANK, I AM I), who joined the band in 2016 following the departure of Tony Harnell (TNT, STARBREAKER). "We are beyond excited to announce that we have signed with Golden Robot Records," says SKID ROW bassist Rachel Bolan. "The label is the perfect balance between old-school way of thinking with digital age sensibilities. We can think of no better company to release our third chapter of 'United World Rebellion' and our first record with ZP." Adds Mark Alexander-Erber, Golden Robot Entertainment Group founder and president: "We are honored to welcome SKID ROW to the Golden Robot Records family they have always remained true to their fans with authenticity and passion. We are more than excited to be part of their next chapter and journey with a brand new album."
SKID ROW's new album for this year will feature collaborations with several outside songwriters and artist, including Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR) and Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of HALESTORM, a group that covered the title track of "Slave To The Grind" on its "ReAniMate: The CoVeRs eP" in 2011.
How about the concert or festival schedule..., SKID ROW will perform at a number of high-profile European festivals in 2019, including Germany's Bang Your Head!!!, the U.K.'s Download, in Swedish you can see at Sweden Rock Festival and Norway Rock '19.
This past January, Rhino released a 30th-anniversary remastered digital reissue of SKID ROW's quintuple-platinum 1989 debut album, which featured the hits "Youth Gone Wild", "18 & Life" and "I Remember You". The reissue also includes "Forever", a b-side recorded during the sessions for the album that previously appeared on the 1998 greatest-hits compilation "40 Seasons: The Best Of Skid Row", and a 10-track live performance recorded on April 26, 1989 at the Marquee in Westminster, California.
